PENTINGKAH EFISIENSI POWER SUPPLY
Artikel ini saya tulis di saat saya meneliti Power Supply yang saya pakai untuk alat mining saya.
Ketika saya memiliki beberapa kartu grafis, maka saya bisa leluasa melakukan mining segala macam alt coin.
Akan tetapi ketika saya berhitung secara bisnis, maka akan bisa mengetahui apakah miner saya ini untung atau buntung?
Untung disini adalah ketika koin yang telah saya gali ini laku dengan harga tinggi dan masih ada sisa ketika saya kurangi tagihan listrik dan internet saya.
Oo begitu? Iya .
Kalau untuk menambang dan menggali saja, maka kita bisa menggali koin apa saja. Akan tetapi akan terasa rugi ketika kita harus membayar tagihan listrik yang tidak biasa.
Saat tidak ada mesin mining, tagihan listrik adalah 200 ribu sebulan. Ketika ada mesin mining, tagihan listrik menjadi 1 juta! Kena tonjok dah!
ILUSTRASI EFFISIENSI DAYA
Berikut ini adalah ilustrasi tabel komparasi effisiensi daya sebuah power supply yang menggunakan Power Supply murah meriah dengan effisiensi 55% dibandingkan dengan Power Supply dengan Effisiensi 85% ( biasa disebut dengan 80+).
Ketika miner VGA kita mengambil daya daya 350 Watt atau saat itu kita memiliki 2 atau 3 VGA Card dan pada saat itu kita menggunakan Power Supply murah yang bereffisiensi 55%, maka sebenarnya kita mengambil daya sebesar 636Watt ke PLN. Dan kita harus membayar 636 Watt dan bukan 350 Watt.
Akan terasa menjadi pahit apabila kita memiliki alat mining dengan sedotan daya sebesar 750 watt. Saat itu Power Supply kita adalah power supply yang BIASA saja dengan effisiensi lebih rendah dari 80+ akan tetapi lebih bagus dari travo besi.
Ketika watt 750 tadi menggunakan power Supply abal-abal dengan effisinsi sebesar 55%, maka sebenarnya kita memakai listrik PLN sebesar 1363 Watt pak boss! Gila nggak tuh?
meteran setiap jam akan menambah angka atau jika menggunakan meteran listik, maka angka display akan berkurang 1 kWH setiap hampir 1 jam!. Wah boros sekali ya?
Namun ketika alat mining 750 Watt ini menggunakan Power Supply yang bersertifikasi 80+, maka sebenarnya kita memakai daya listrik PLN sebesar 882 Watt.
Dan selisih uang setelah 1 bulan adalah 520 ribu! Hemat sekali bukan?
