410A and 430A is a HH SCOTT ‘s 80’s amplifier which it has an internal tone control inside the power amplifier.
The Power Amplifier can deliver output until 30 Watts at 8 Ohm load. The front panel of the amp are using VU Meter to make the amplifier so elegant.
SCHEMATIC DIAGRAM
This is an editing schematic diagram of Power Section of HH SCOTT 410A 430A Integrated Amplifier:
When we saw this schematic diagram, its look like the amplifier unit consist of some block diagram as follow:
MUTING feature, its determine by Q15 & Q16. Any mute signal appear in Q16, DC current will be grounded for Q15 and it make nothing supply to Q1.
Preamplifier, by Q1 ( 2SA798 ) which it has 5 pins.
VAS amplifier, its using current mirroring Q3 dan output goes to Q5.
RV1 and D3 do as bias voltage which determine stationer DC current for Final power transistor while the Power amplifier idling or standby.
NOTE
The power transistor originally using their special case look like this:
But now the transistor are using general case TO-3PN. But the spec for power output is still 80 Watts at maximum dissipation. ( DATASHEETS ).
