The 100+ are simple amplifiers. its only contains 8 transistors and only requires 24 VDC supply.
The amplifier circuit consists of 5 parts, firsly the pre-amplifier, voltage amplifier stages, servo driver, driver amplifier and finally power amplifier.
- The Q758 and Q759 preamps use 2SA640 transistors, but use resistors and diodes to maintain current for initial gain.
- The Q753 voltage amplifier uses the C959 transistor.
- The Q752 servo driver uses the C945 transistor.
- Driver amplifier Q754 and Q755 use transistor numbers C960 and A607.
- Finally, Power Amplifier using transistor number 2SD322.
The HK100+ requires a symmetric 24VDC power supply to produce until 58 Watts of output power at 4 Ohms or 24 Watts at 8 Ohm loads.
The transistor support circuit is quite simple. Similarly, its nice simple schema.
However, the value of resistors and capacitors inside the circuit was made so precision by the engineers who made it.
